SATnet facilitates the interaction between Swansea Metropolitan University based academics and Welsh companies that work in the visual arts, the science and technology sectors.By fusing together these traditionally polar disciplines, SATnet not only creates new partnerships, but also helps to develop potential new products and processes that boost the Welsh economy. SATnet is a knowledge transfer project that is part of the Academia for Business (A4B) scheme. The A4B Fund is managed by the Welsh Assembly Government’s Department for Economy and Transport, and is financed by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Union.
