Wendy Hayes-Jones

Wendy Hayes-Jones is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of English Studies. Her main area of interest is African American literature - particularly the issues of identity and ethnicity in the works of Ishmael Reed - which is the current research focus of her PhD. Other areas of interest include nineteenth century and contemporary Slave Narratives which formed the subject of her MA thesis and currently inform her teaching. Wendy teaches undergraduate courses in Romanticism, Victorianism and Postmodernism.
