Georgina White is a Fine art photographic practitioner, who graduated in 2003 from Swansea Metropolitan University with an MA, with Distinction, in Fine Art Photography and in 2000 with a BA (Hons) Photography in the Arts. Her current work is a visual exploration of digital photography and the moving image that has been produced during research trips to Italy, Russia, Finland, Norway and the UK and explores the notion of the Arcadian landscape, travel and memory. Her work has been exhibited at a professional level all over the UK, most notably within the "Elsewhere' exhibition at the Glynn Vivian Gallery in Swansea, a group show which included the work of Tim Davies, Sue Williams, Craig Wood, Peter Finnemore, Karen Ingham, David Hastie and Paul Emmanuel. Georgina also works as a freelance editorial photographer and is represented by ‘Millennium Images', London. Her most recent published work includes the Enduring Love Book cover produced for Vintage. Since graduating Georgina has worked as a conference organiser and enterprise development officer, and for the past three years has worked as marketing officer for the Faculty of Art & Design at Swansea Metropolitan University, as well as a project officer for CIRIC.
