Dr Nick Potter has published in the areas of twentieth century literature and Shakespeare and has a particular interest in the history of criticism of Shakespeare's major plays. He has published twice in the Palgrave Macmillan series Reader's Guides to Essential Criticism, on Othello and again on Antony and Cleopatra. He is about to publish again on Othello in the new series Character Studies from Continuum Press and is preparing a third Reader's Guide on Shakespeare's late romances, including The Tempest.
