Claire specialises in printmaking, textiles and free hand embroidery. Intaglio printing is a major part of her work, with elements of new and contemporary technology, laser etching and cutting.

After graduating, Claire worked as Graduate Artist in Residence in SMU and is Textiles/Applied Art Technician in CIRIC, Swansea Metropolitan University.

Research includes developing relief printing blocks using the CAD and CAM facilities within CIRIC.

Research findings are applied to various materials: wood, lino, mdf, anodised steel, acrylic, etc. with main focus on the CO2 Laser Graphixscan Engraving Machine.
