Andrew Reynolds B.Ed (Hons), PGDip Ed, M.A. (Dist)

Following my recovery from serious injury I enjoy carrying out action research in Informal Learning as part of my PhD at UWIC.I have worked as an Education lecturer for the University of Glamorgan (Flexible Access/Accredited programmes) for five years, whilst I am currently PGCE /SEN/Lifelong Learning/Education Tutor for Swansea School of Education. I have thoroughly enjoyed the teaching of History, Study Support, Lifelong Learning, SEN, Research Methodology and Professional Studies, my work includes pedagogy associated with 3-11 age range, development of the trainees' own subject knowledge, the development of specialist History/SEN trainee's understanding and knowledge of their subject, and the development of trainees' knowledge and understanding of Professional Studies/ Study Skills//Research Methods. I presented a paper in Informal Learning at the National FACE Conference 2002. I am carrying out Early Years/Adult Education history research within the ESF-‘Know Your Place' Project (UWS) and I have just had a research paper accepted for the CBA National Conference in 2007 at the University of York on ‘The role of Informal Learning in Archaeology and Education'.
