Perfformio is an international online journal of the performing arts. The journal is published bi-annually by the Centre for Innovative Performance Practice and Research, Swansea Metropolitan University. 

Perfformio builds on the University's research strategy which is centred upon encouraging and expanding research in all of its manifestations, especially where it is of an applied nature or comprising professional practice. It is on this premise that the Centre for Innovative Performance Practice and Research seeks to promote the journal as an asset to Swansea Metropolitan University by working continually to extend its presence on the local, national and international academic stage.

Perfformio aims to provide a credible platform for the dissemination of high quality research by academics and practitioners in performing arts and allied disciplines. Submissions are anonymously peer reviewed by two or more subject specialists and amendments sought, where appropriate, before articles can be published in the journal. The rigorous nature of the peer review process is designed to safeguard the integrity of the publication.
