Dame Cleo Laine

"I am delighted to be a Patron of an organisation with such exciting activities" - 2004.

Dame Cleo Laine donated this dress to the Women in Jazz Archive Collection in 2004. She wore it at Carnegie hall 1999 for the 25th Anniversary of the concert there in 1974. The concert was recorded and released as an album called 'Live in Manhattan'. Dame Cleo also wore this dress when she appeared at The Hollywood Bowl on 13th August 2003 in 'A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald'.
