Swansea Metropolitan University is to host a Secondary PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) Information Morning for students who are interested in teacher training.

Prospective students are invited to the University's Townhill campus to find out more about the courses on offer at one of the largest providers of teacher education training in Wales. The PGCE is a thirty-six week course which will enable students to gain Qualified Teaching Status within their subject specialism.

The School will be holding its Information Morning on Tuesday 7th February 2012. It will provide students with details about the PGCE courses, applications and previous students' experiences at the Swansea School of Education, part of the South West Wales Centre of Teacher Education.
