Introduction to the School of Psychology and Counselling PDF Print E-mail

The success of the joint honours components in Psychology and Counselling resulted in the new School being established in 2007.

The aims of the School include achieving the best quality of teaching and learning for students. The facilities and positive atmosphere generated by a designated school contribute to achieving this goal, and the learning experience for students is enhanced by having a team of lecturers working closely together, as well as with students themselves.

The School encourages a friendly communicative approach to education. Small group work is used to consolidate knowledge that is presented in lectures. In addition, lecturers are approachable and are available to answer queries at dedicated times.

The School of Psychology and Counselling provides the forum for an effective and enjoyable experience when learning about two fascinating topics, and helps to ensure each student achieve their full potential. It is an exciting time to be studying these subjects at Swansea Metropolitan University.
