Programme Design

The BA (Hons) Business programme provides a thorough and wide-ranging education in all aspects of business, including Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Information Systems.  The programme will prepare you for any number of possible careers within business, or perhaps even running your own business.  This is an excellent choice if you want to ‘keep your options open’ or are not sure which area of business you might wish to specialise in.

Programme Structure

Throughout the three years of the programme you study a broad range of business subjects covering the core functional disciplines of business.  In your second and final years there is increased flexibility with the option to choose elective modules (or a dissertation) in subjects that are of particular interest to you.

All modules carry 20 credits, apart from the dissertation which is worth 40 credits.

This course prepares you for a wide range of possible careers in business in any of the functional areas such as marketing, finance, and human resource management; or in a general management or entrepreneurial role.

Entry Requirements

160 UCAS points to include 120 points from A-Levels or equivalent .
