Recently, the industry has been forcefully driven by global developments, in particular the need to conserve limited resources and the development of new, innovative ways of working.Quantity Surveyors will play a vital role in helping to meet these challenges; their role will include effective and efficient management that leads to sustainable projects which meets the needs of society.
Construction Skills and the Construction Industry Training Board have highlighted the need for more proficient staff in areas such as quantity surveying. Furthermore, sustainable construction is fast becoming a high priority for the industry.
