Primary Applications

For September 2012 entry your application should be sent to the GTTR between early October 2011 and the closing date of 1st December 2011 to guarantee that you will be considered. Applications received by the GTTR after this date and before 30th June 2012 will be sent to Swansea Metropolitan University only if places are still available.

Secondary Applications

There is no set closing date for Secondary applications and Swansea Metropolitan University is not obliged to consider applications which were received by the GTTR by a specific date. The GTTR processes all applications received by 30th June 2012 and sends them to Swansea Metropolitan University if places on a particular course are available. Early application is therefore advised as there is great competition for places.

Clearing

Applications received after 30th June 2012 will be entered into Clearing.

Deferred Entry

If you wish to defer entry for a year you can do this upon request, once you have been made an offer.

If you are granted a deferred place for 2013, you must satisfy all the conditions of that offer by 31st August 2012. If you accept a place you cannot then reapply through the GTTR in the 2012-2013 cycle unless you have first withdrawn your original application before 30th September 2012.
