Chris has found the whole experience of living and studying away from home to be very exciting and has adapted easily to life in Wales "some people say I've developed a Welsh accent!. I've learnt the way of living in Swansea and Wales as a country".

After studying in Nigeria Chris felt that studying overseas would provide a wider range of courses and the opportunity to experience a new culture. Swansea's unique location provided what he was looking for "Swansea is the best place to study because it helps students balance academic activity with social activity".

Chris has found the vocational aspect of his course to be invaluable "My course is fantastic because it's an engineering course with management, which prepares students for life outside University. The best aspect is the fact that as a student you have that one on one relationship with your lecturers, which I really appreciate. The department has got the latest manufacturing equipment and staff and lecturers are friendly. They not only teach you in class but give you advice on life after University".
