Accommodation is more than likely one of the first things that comes to mind when you consider studying in another country. We recognise that it may be the first time you have lived on your own, or perhaps even your first time abroad. The good news is whatever your budget or preference the Accommodation Office is here to help and advise you on your accommodation options.
The majority of first year students stay on campus in one of our Halls of Residence as this gives students the opportunity to adapt to university life at their own pace. The university prioritises students in their first year of study for accommodation on site if they live outside of the UK. If you decide to take up a place in Halls of Residence you will instantly be mixing with other students in the same situation as you. We endeavour to create a pleasant living environment with a good range of students on different courses on every floor.
The University has a number of self catering Halls of Residence based on two separate campuses. Prices vary from £51 to £68 per week inclusive of bills.
There is also plenty of private student accommodation available in Swansea. The Accommodation Office offers valuable advice and general information to students looking to rent privately and compiles an accommodation list every year.
