This will enable you to progress quickly to their postgraduate diploma after you have graduated and help improve your career prospects. This area of business has developed rapidly in recent years and will be of interest to students who are particularly interested in the ‘people’ aspect of running an organisation. On this programme you will gain a thorough grounding in all areas of business and specialist, in-depth knowledge of aspects of the Human Resources function such as personnel resourcing, employee relations, leadership and development. Programme StructureAs with all our undergraduate business programmes you study six core modules in your first year, covering the key functional areas of business and developing your personal and study skills. In your second and final years you progress to more specialised and in-depth modules about Human Resource Management, building your professional skills and knowledge at a strategic level.
All modules carry 20 credits, apart from the dissertation which is worth 40 credits. Employment OpportunitiesThis programme prepares you for a career as a Human Resource Management professional, either within an organisation or on a self-employed basis. Typical future career roles might include Human Resources Manager, Personnel officer, HR Consultant, or Training and Development Manager. Entry Requirements160 UCAS points to include 120 points from A-Levels or equivalent .

Advanced EntryEntry to Year 2 or 3 is encouraged from HND/HNC students. There is a strong tradition of successful transfer to the degree for such students. |
