Programme Structure

Students begin with an introduction to design, modelling and rendering techniques (previous knowledge is not expected) within 3D, together with disciplines in the principles of computer animation and production methods in the animation industry. Character animation, compositing and filmmaking techniques strengthen these foundations throughout the next year as participants grow to learn the art and technology of being a computer animator. The final year culminates in the production of a major piece of animation, as individuals develop their ideas from initial conception through to final render.
