Field: The Final Season’ followed Swansea City
Football club as they moved from their historic home ground
'Vetch Field' into a new purpose built stadium in the city
centre. Incorporating the work of many different photographers
and, therefore, a considerable range of viewpoints and responses,
this project touches on the club itself, the community that
supports it and the space that surrounds it. The project
concluded at the end of the final season at the 'Vetch' in
2005 with the transition from the old stadium to their new
home, culminating in an exhibition of the work at the Glynn
Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea in 2006 alongside an accompanying
joint publication with CLASI and Swansea CC.
